Terrace resident since 1995. Happily married 30 plus years, have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. My wife and I live rurally on a small acreage. I recently retired following a 50 plus year career in Industrial Supply Sales and Management. Past volunteer experience includes tutoring Adult Literacy and a 12 year experience with the Thornhill Volunteer Fire Department. During my tenure with the Fire Department I was directly involved with the formation of the Medical First Responder Program and was the lead instructor for several years. I was also a Team Leader in our Critical Incident Stress Management Team, leading our debriefing team with the goal of reducing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder within the ranks. Sadly, I resigned my position within the department due to sudden medical issues that would affect my emergency response capabilities. I have had an interest in the Hospice program for some time now. The website mention of a potential Hospice House really piqued my interest and made me consider that this was a project I could really get behind.
