Hike For Hospice 2022

You’re Invited

After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, the Terrace Hospice Society (THS) is holding its annual fundraiser “Hike for Hospice” on Sunday May 1st, 2022, and you are invited to join us. This fundraiser is a main source of revenue for our Rainbows Program for youth.

Rainbows is an International not-for-profit designed to provide support and healing for children who are experiencing traumatic loss or transitions in life. These losses and transitions are often caused by death, divorce, separation, or abandonment. These events are inescapable realities and special care needs to be taken in helping youth through these difficult times. The organization was founded in 1983 in three Chicago schools, and has since spread to 17 countries, serving over one million children, adolescents, and young adults.

On May 1st at 2:00pm we will gather in the Ferry Island parking lot to begin an easy walk, suitable for all ages and skill levels. The Registration booth will be set up near the yellow entrance gate where we will collect the pledge sheets and donations. Every donation over $100 will get a free Terrace Hospice Society T-Shirt and a tax-deductible receipt. Download your pledge form here:

“Pledge Form 2022”

We invite everyone to participate in this worthy cause. Together we can make a difference. Walk as a group or individually. Think about challenging your family and friends to do the same. And just to spice things up a bit we will have lots of prizes.

  • T Shirt for anyone bringing in $100 or more in pledges
  • Prize for the best dressed dog
  • Prize for the most outrageous hat

Refreshments will follow. Stop in and meet our volunteers and learn more about the Rainbows Program.

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your pooch. Come on out and support the Terrace Hospice Society.

Sincerely yours,

Diana Wood
