I am retired and a long-time resident of Terrace. I volunteered to sit on the board of THS because I believe the services offered are needed by people living in the Terrace area. As with most societies, volunteers are necessary for them to exist. As a person fortunate to live in this area, I believe I have a civic responsibility to support organizations that fulfill my vision of a caring community.
